Waterford Companies is one of the leading builder/developers of single-family homes, maintenance free villas, luxury condominiums and commercial projects in the greater Venice area.

Our mission is to continually strive for excellence in our industry, which includes developing land and building commercial and residential properties in a manner that will positively impact our community, our employees and our customers’ quality of life. Our team is committed to providing expert service and working with our customers to exceed their expectations prior to, during and after the sale.

Over the past 23 years, the majority of our efforts have been focused on the retirement market. We are beginning to expand our efforts to the pre-retirement market with mixed use residential communities. We are increasing commercial projects to meet the needs of the community and the residents. We are also developing more mixed use and walkable communities that embrace the “New Urbanism” standards sprouting up across the country, like Bay Street Village and Towncenter, located in Osprey, Florida.

In May 2005, Waterford Companies received the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce’s “Business of the Year” award and in October 2005 received the very prestigious “Industry of the Year” award from the Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County. We are pleased and proud to be recipients of these awards.

Some of the many projects that we have completed include: Waterford Championship Golf Community; Venice Palms, Hidden Lakes Club and Sorrento Cay single family homes; The Waterfront on Venice Island luxury condominiums; Tuscany Lake Condominiums; Auburn Hammocks Villas and many other villa and condo projects. Our commercial projects include: Laurel Interchange Business Center; Jacaranda Commercial Center; Lake View Office Park and The Galleria Plaza, where we have opened an eleven screen movie theater.
